A note for you here
It would be best to save your book on your computer (right click your mouse button on the pdf book to bring down a dialog box on the book, then click on the “save” then save it to the directory of your choice). Because when you use an external link in your book and come back to the book on your browser you would have to unlock the book again and then go to the page you were on. But if you save your book to your computer which has a PDF app. on your computer to read your book the book will remain unlocked (until you close the book) and the page you were on will be saved so you can continue reading where you left off after coming back from an external link which of course is very convenient. But you have to save your pdf book to your computer for this to work. You can download a Adobe reader here if you don’t have a pdf app.on your computer: www.adobe.com/reader. If you do not have a pdf app the book will open in your browser. A pdf app gives you control on how your book will function. Also if your pdf app does not open a pdf file embedded correctly you can open the embedded pdf file into your browser (I found this to happen with the adobe pdf app.).
Note: Standard version is free, the pro version cost (un-click the extra features if you don’t want them). Most computers will have a pdf reader on them already. Mikey
P.s. If you downloaded the PDF program we suggested (or check the preferences of the PDF program you are using), you can tell the program to save the page your reading, so when you open the book again it will open on the last page you were reading. This way you don’t have to write down the page number to open to, the next time you open the book. Go to “edit” then in the dialog box click on preferences then check mark the option “restore last view settings when reopening documents”.
